Could You Tutor?
Give an Hour. Grow Yourself. Change Their World.
Whether you’re a retired teacher, a current tutor, or a STEM professional working in industry, you have exactly the kind of experience that can change a child’s relationship with learning. StemFun runs short, one‑hour hands‑on STEM sessions in schools and community settings, and we’re looking for people like you to help lead them.
We provide ready‑to‑run activities, training and kit; you choose the topics and age groups that suit your skills, from circuits and coding to robotics, data and maths challenges. Many of our tutors volunteer their time, which allows us to offer more free or low‑cost places to children who might not otherwise access this kind of opportunity.
If you can spare an hour now and then, you can help spark curiosity, build confidence and open doors for local young people – with all the joy of teaching and mentoring, and none of the paperwork.
Ready to explore what this could look like for you? Complete our short “Tutor Interest” form, and we’ll be in touch to discuss the best way for you to get involved with StemFun.
